COMPRESSION
Compression molding - a method of molding where material strips with pre-determined dimension and weight are arranged directly on the mold cavities/ inserts. The mold is closed with the upper mold, pressure is then applied to force the material to spread and fill the mold cavities or inserts, while the temperature and pressure are maintained until the material has cured.
TRANSFER
Transfer Molding - a process where the required material strips with pre-determined dimension and weight are arranged in the mold pot. A piston forces the materials to transfer using temperature and pressure into the cavities/ insert assembly and fill them up, then cured to produce the molded rubber products.
Compression and Transfer molding can be done using either Vacuum Press or Mold Press Machine.
